Precision Maintenance Ensures Equipment Safety and Efficiency — Our Factory Carries Out Comprehensive Overhaul of XCMG XR360 Rotary Drilling Rig
Release Time:
Jul 29,2026
Our factory has launched a full-scale overhaul of the core XCMG XR360 rotary drilling rig, with the maintenance work currently in progress. Aiming at performance degradation and component wear caused by long-term heavy-load operation, the technical team adopts standardized whole-process maintenance procedures to troubleshoot faults, replace worn parts and calibrate equipment parameters. The overhaul is expected to eliminate potential safety hazards, restore the rig’s original factory performance, and guarantee safe and efficient operation of subsequent infrastructure and pile foundation projects
To guarantee the safe and stable operation of construction machinery, eliminate hidden risks including performance degradation and component abrasion incurred by long-term heavy-duty operation, and boost overall operational efficiency, our factory’s overhaul workshop has initiated a full-scale overhaul of the XCMG XR360 rotary drilling rig. The maintenance work is currently well underway and yet to be finalized. Compliant with industry-leading maintenance standards and standardized operating protocols, the ongoing overhaul targets all latent and existing equipment defects. Upon full completion, the rig will be restored to its original factory optimal performance, delivering reliable equipment support for subsequent pile foundation construction and infrastructure development.
The XCMG XR360 rotary drilling rig is a flagship core device for pile foundation and large-scale infrastructure construction. It integrates high torque output, superior structural stability and intelligent control systems, delivering strong adaptability to diverse complex stratum working conditions. Nevertheless, prolonged high-intensity field operation commonly leads to hydraulic system leakage, powertrain performance decay, structural component wear and reduced ECU sensitivity, resulting in low construction efficiency and potential safety hazards. To completely resolve inherent equipment faults and restore original factory technical specifications, our professional technical team has formulated a standardized full lifecycle overhaul solution: complete disassembly, precision inspection, targeted servicing, overall commissioning and standardized acceptance. This systematic overhaul avoids partial, fragmented maintenance and aims to achieve comprehensive performance optimization of the equipment.
All overhaul work is carried out in strict accordance with international construction machinery maintenance specifications with clear team division and rigorous operational standards. Basic procedures including full equipment disassembly and deep internal & external cleaning have been completed. At the current stage, technicians are conducting thorough fault troubleshooting and precision calibration on core components, covering the high-power powertrain, load-sensing hydraulic system, intelligent electronic control unit, telescopic crawler traveling mechanism, high-strength mast and dedicated drill rod. Worn and degraded consumable parts such as sealing assemblies, bearings, hydraulic pipelines and filter elements are being replaced in batches, while structural deformation and component loosening issues are being rectified. Subsequent procedures will include precise calibration of hydraulic pressure and power output parameters to eliminate common defects such as power insufficiency, operational jitter, fluid leakage, abnormal noise and positioning deviation. Exterior refurbishment and internal circuit standardization will also be implemented to comprehensively upgrade the equipment’s overall operating condition.
Adhering to the core principle of "Quality First, Safety Priority", every overhaul procedure is strictly implemented, inspected and verified to eliminate potential maintenance quality and safety risks. After the completion of all servicing and debugging work, a full set of acceptance tests will be conducted, including no-load trial operation, loaded performance testing and safety function validation. All operational and safety parameters will be fully aligned with XCMG’s official factory specifications, enabling the rig to meet stringent high-intensity construction requirements and effectively improving its operational stability, safety performance and service durability.
The ongoing full overhaul of the XCMG XR360 rotary drilling rig is a critical measure to strengthen equipment safety management, reduce long-term operational and maintenance costs, and extend equipment service life. Moving forward, our factory will continue to specialize in construction machinery maintenance, overhaul and remanufacturing services. We will keep upgrading professional maintenance technologies, standardizing operational workflows and improving service capabilities, providing stable, high-quality equipment technical support for the safe, efficient and orderly progress of various infrastructure construction projects.
