Drill Pipes Neatly Organized at Overhaul Yard to Streamline Remanufacturing Workflow

Release Time:

Aug 31,2026

The piling‑equipment overhaul yard has completed sorting and neat stacking of rotary drill pipes and related components. Parts are grouped by categories to simplify inspection, flaw detection, refurbishment and shipment, improving overall site management for remanufacturing operations.

Previously, new and used drill pipes, lock‑bar drill rods, friction bars and connector accessories were scattered across the yard. The team sorted items by dimension, length and wear condition. Drill pipes awaiting inspection, under repair and fully refurbished are placed in separate zones. The Zoomlion truck‑mounted crane provides heavy‑lift support to relocate and position heavy drill pipe assemblies into designated storage areas.
As high‑wear core components for rotary drilling rigs, properly stored drill pipes avoid impact damage and deformation. Technicians can quickly access parts for wear check, weld inspection, surface reconditioning and joint overhaul. Visualized inventory management speeds up overhaul cycles, spare‑part allocation and machine delivery, enabling faster drill‑pipe supply for overseas clients.
The overhaul facility keeps upgrading on‑site standardization. Besides drill‑pipe management, masts, winches, undercarriage and other piling‑machine components are stored in dedicated zones to support efficient disassembly, repair and remanufacturing of rotary drilling rigs.
