Our company’s overhaul workshop has finished comprehensive full overhaul work for the XCMG XR240E rotary drill rig. Professional on-site load testing was conducted on the entire kelly-bar assembly. The telescoping, rotating and load-bearing performances of the kelly-bar have all passed strict inspections. The overall working performance and overhaul quality of the equipment have been fully verified through practical commissioning.

Our workshop has recently completed a comprehensive in-depth overhaul and professional kelly-bar load testing for a XCMG XR240E rotary drill rig, targeting full performance recovery of core drilling components.

The project involved complete disassembly, detailed cleaning and systematic inspection of key components, including the rotary drive head, multi-section telescopic kelly bar, hydraulic control system and crawler travel assembly. All worn and defective parts were fully renewed, while deformed structural components were precisely calibrated and restored to standard factory mechanical conditions.
The on-site commissioning focused on critical performance indicators, including kelly-bar concentricity, locking mechanism engagement accuracy, telescopic operation fluency and heavy-load rotary stability. Throughout the entire test cycle, the kelly-bar operated smoothly with no jamming, vibration or abnormal operation. All technical parameters are fully compliant with original factory design criteria, verifying the high standard and reliability of our professional overhaul services.
As a critical wear-resistant component of rotary drilling rigs, the kelly-bar commonly suffers from surface abrasion, structural distortion and excessive locking clearance after long-term deep-hole and hard-rock drilling operations. Adopting standardized disassembly inspection, precision parts replacement and rigorous real-equipment testing, our overhaul team effectively resolves equipment functional defects, restores optimal working performance, and substantially prolongs the service life of rotary drilling equipment.
The XCMG XR240E rig has successfully passed all standard performance tests. Our professional overhaul workshop specializes in full-spec rotary drill rig overhaul and kelly-bar system maintenance, delivering high-quality, reliable equipment maintenance solutions for global piling and foundation engineering clients.
